Terms of use

Draft — pending review

Who provides Baseline

Baseline is provided by a UK-based sole trader operating under the trading name Baseline. These terms are between you (the person using Baseline) and us.

What you can and can't do

You may use Baseline to analyse your own fitness data, or fitness data you have permission to analyse. You may not use Baseline to break the law, to infringe anyone else’s rights, to attempt to break into other people’s workspaces or to reverse-engineer the service.

You keep ownership of the files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them for the sole purpose of producing your Baseline Report.

Beta status

Baseline is currently in a private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. If a paid report or plan fails materially, we’ll refund it — no questions.

Not medical advice

Baseline is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. See our non-medical-device notice for the details.

Payments

Where Baseline offers paid reports or plans, payment is handled by Stripe. Refunds for materially failed reports are honoured on request. Subscription pricing may change with reasonable notice.

Termination

You can stop using Baseline at any time and delete your account. We may suspend an account that’s being used to attack the service or that’s in serious breach of these terms.

Limits

To the extent allowed by law, Baseline is provided “as is”. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, loss of profits or loss of data caused by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that can’t be limited or excluded under English law.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
